Mikaela Russell is an illustrator from Danbury, Connecticut. She earned her BFA degree at The Institute of Art and Design at New England College. A self declared fantasy nerd, Mikaela Russell works with a fantastical realistic style to create colorful and conceptual illustrations. Most of her work is in the fantasy genre but does branch out into other genres. While Mikaela works primarily digitally, she still employs some traditional techniques. In her spare time she usually sketches while binging on Netflix or spends her time reading.
Mikaela Russell has worked with publications including New Hampshire Magazine and Easter Seals. She recently created six banners for Intown Manchester that are displayed throughout Manchester, NH for the year 2021.
